Attention Vanguard 16-18 Gold Team Parents and Players,

USAV Volleyball has announced the cancellation of BJNC in Reno. They posted the official announcement on their website this evening. In their announcement USAV has asked the families to* NOT* call the hotel to try to cancel their reservations. All hotel cancellations will be handled by Team Travel Source. Please do not reach out to the team hotels directly to cancel as this will cause confusion and might cause you to have to pay a cancellation fee. Team Travel Source will make sure there are no cancellation fees.
Please be patient as Melissa from Vanguard contacts our Team Travel Source representative. We will be in contact with you as soon as possible about the reservations.

While we are disappointed our Vanguard 16 – 18 Gold teams will not have the opportunity to play in Reno this summer, we are excited to be able to announce the USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championships will be held in Kansas City in 2021!

For Vanguard 16- 18 Gold teams fees and the balance of the season: While our summer season has now officially ended, we will look forward with hope we can hold our annual Fall League in September 2020. We will post an announcement later this summer.
The Directors are evaluating the fees associated with the cancellation of the balance of the season and will be in contact with the Vanguard 16 – 18 Gold teams families in the very near future.

Thank you for your patience through this difficult time,

As always, email us with questions at

Greetings Parents and Players,

Much has changed since we played in our last club tournament in February. The worldwide pandemic has impacted every single person at some level and in different ways. No one would have guessed then, we would have any question about our school season or being able to play at USA Volleyball Boys Junior National Championships in Reno this summer. Times have changed.

The Directors have been monitoring the situation since the beginning of the closures. They have been gathering and receiving information from multiple sources. No one source has all the answers. The health of our players, families and coaches is first and foremost as we discuss the balance of the season. We will be in further communication as soon as possible.

Stay well!
